We are seeking to employ an ICT educator specialising in Robotics and/or Creative applications in our ICT department. Parklands College is an Apple 1:1 and Google Apps school. The successful candidate will enjoy working within a stimulating and innovative teaching and learning environment, surrounded by superior technology and facilities. Parklands has changed the way in which it delivers ICT training by incorporating modern tools in order to expose learners to new and exciting technologies.

Successful candidates:

  • may be qualified to assume responsibility for the delivery and further development of the ICT curriculum
  • must have experience with the following software suites e.g. iLife, iWorks and Google Apps
  • must have experience teaching with OSX, iOS
  • must have experience with Adobe products e.g. Photoshop
  • an understanding of Film making using Final Cut Pro is an advantage
  • must have experience with LEGO Robotics and coding
  • must be able to make a contribution to the ICT co-curricular programme
  • must be conversant and display a progressive approach to teaching and learning
  • must be willing to go on further training
