The Registar will support the upper and lower school directors by:

* Maintaining current and accurate records, paper and electronic, for all students in full compliance with all relevant authorities

* Compiling list of new courses

* Communicating schedules/class list with textbook coordinator

* Update division directors and admission director regarding section counts

* Creating the Master Schedule for grades Prek-12

* Completing all student scheduling for grades Prek-12

* Developing, maintaining, and producing student transcripts

* Configuring teacher gradebook templates at the beginning of each school year and archiving teacher gradebook at the close of each school year

* Researching and reporting on various teacher/student/parent queries

* Conducting teacher and administrative training in records technology as needed

* Working with administration to establish systems and processes for the effective communication of student information as needed

* Maintaining critical communication with administration in all relevant aspects of duties

* Conducting communication with students and parents in terms of course availabilty, schedule posting, etc

* Preparing reports for failing students, honor list, etc. for directors

* Working with director of student services to provide needed information such as Bright Futures information

* Coordinating with IT staff regarding issues impacting records and reporting

* Serving as the campus authority on the student information system (SIS), RenWeb

* Facilitating integration with SIS and other sources

* Compiling and verifying the accuracy of all student grade records including grade books, report cards, progress reports, transcripts, etc.

* Complete special project as assigned

* Support the school, its administration, and mission

* Other duties as assigned
  

Requirements

 

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Must maintain positive professional relationships with all stakeholders

* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills a must

* Must be able to manage a number of projects simultaneously

* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree

* Must exercise strict confidentiality

* Proficient with technology in terms of devices and major use softward (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel)-background in both PC's and Macs is a plus
