We invite applications for the following position:

DIGITAL LEARNING CO-ORDINATOR (HIGH SCHOOL)

The successful candidate will have an ICT background, preferably in education, and the ability to integrate education and technology. He/she will be passionate about the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Providing first line software support to staff and pupils for software and ICT systems used within the school, including latest iOS and Mac platforms, as well as Google Apps for Education
• Digital literacy training of High School pupils (Grades 7 – 9) on iPads and Macbooks
• Teaching coding to High School pupils (Grade 9)
• Development of ICT training for teachers on various media
• Training and coaching of staff in the integration of ICT in the classroom
• Working closely with the Head of IT to establish an appropriate ICT training programme
• Reporting to the Academic Head on progress and obstacles in order to assist in successful staff engagement
• Liaising with the IT department with regard to ICT needs in the High School
• Managing the pupil ICT support team in the High School
• Participating in the High School pastoral and academic programme

Requirements include:

• Suitable professional qualification/s
• Previous experience in a school environment
• Experience with Windows, Apple Mac and iPads
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• A passion for ICT and education
• Being creative and innovative
• Be able to subscribe to the Christian ethos and mission of the School and a willingness to participate in the broader life of the school.
