Seven Peaks School has an excellent opportunity for an individual to support grades PK-8 curriculum and instruction as an Innovation & Technology Teacher in our newly created fully Innovation & Technology Lab.

The Middle School Innovation & Technology Teacher will teach technology, computer science, engineering design, and maker skills, as well as collaborate with faculty to design and coordinate interdisciplinary activities to promote innovative learning. The ideal candidate will have a passion for making, design thinking, project-based learning, as well as experience or interest in working in a student-centered, collaborative, and inquiry-based educational environment.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Teach grades PK-8 technology courses with a focus on computer programming, physical computing, engineering design, and making
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to develop integrated projects that incorporate principles of innovation and design into curriculum; co-lead and co-teach with teachers in the lab and classroom
  • Organization, maintenance, and inventory of hardware, software, and other materials in the Innovation & Technology Lab
  • Support classes, students, and teachers that use the Innovation & Technology Lab, ensuring safety of all makers in the space
  • Develop and lead after school teams and activities for student enrichment (robotics team, maker club, coding club, etc.).

• A bachelor's degree in a related field
