Dwight School is seeking a full-time Library/Technology Teacher beginning in September 2017.

 

The daily responsibilities of the Library/Technology Teacher are to:

  • Teach technology and/or research classes in grades 6-12
  • Support the daily operation of the library, including supervising students, circulating library resources, and providing reader’s advisory and research assistance
  • Assist faculty and students with the meaningful use of the school’s library, media, and technology resources
  • Develop and deliver internal library, media, and technology training
  • Model innovative technology use for other Dwight community members

 

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

 

  • Experience working with middle and high school students
  • Teaching experience in one or more of the following disciplines: library, media, technology
  • Experience working in a school with a 1:1 program
  • Ability to contribute positively to the community with patience and humor
