The Web and Social Media Coordinator reports to the Director of Communications and assists in fulfilling a broad range of communications needs, with emphasis on the school’s daily web and social media presence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Generating daily social media content on multiple platforms
  • Growing social media reach across existing and emerging platforms
  • Updating web content (schedules, calendars, etc.)
  • In conjunction with the Director of Communications, overseeing and analyzing strategies for social marketing/optimization
  • Troubleshooting web and tech issues
  • Providing photography and video content
  • Providing support to Advancement, Admissions and other school departments as required
  • Undertaking other tasks assigned by the Director of Communications

The successful candidate should have:

  • Degree or diploma in Communications or related field and/or a minimum three years’ experience
  • Knowledge of website management, content management systems, search engine and social media marketing
  • Knowledge of SEM, analytics, market optimization
  • Knowledge of Adobe, Microsoft software
  • Organizational skills
  • Creativity and insight
  • Familiarity with photography, videography and editing
  • Strong English skills, with fluency in French (written and spoken) an asset
  • Familiarity with boarding schools an asset
