Secondary School Computer Teacher

The Awty International School seeks a Part Time Secondary School Computer Teacher to teach in its Middle School for 2017-2018 school year and beyond.

Minimum Qualifications 

• BA or equivalent in a discipline applicable to the teaching position.
• At least two years teaching experience in computer technology. 

Ideal Candidate 

• Demonstrate knowledge of content area in the approved curriculum: programming, robotics, graphics editing, 3D modeling.
• Capable of teaching multiple grades. 

Middle School Computer Teacher Position 

• Each computer class meets two periods per week for 50 minutes.
• Maximum of 20 students per class.
• Teach 3 to 4 middle school computer classes for 6 to 8 total hours.
• Manage class website with calendar and syllabus.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
• Collaborates with colleagues on curriculum development.
