Instructional Technology Specialist
Primary Purpose: Develop and train instructional staff to effectively incorporate the use of technology into instructional programs and curriculum. The Instructional Technology Specialist will provide input/insight on ways to increase teachers' use of technology as it positively impacts student performance in the classroom.
Qualifications: Education/Certification: Bachelor's Degree (minimum); Valid Texas teaching certificate (required)
Special Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of computer and instructional software applications; Ability to develop and deliver technology training to adult learners; Knowledge of curriculum and technology used in instructional setting; Strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills.
Experience: Three years teaching experience; Minimum of three years working with modern instructional technology equipment and instructional software applications.
