The Department of Innovation, Technology, and Supply Chain Management at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania has a full time tenure track position in Information and Technology Management beginning Fall 2018 academic semester. 
 
 Qualifying Experience / Education:
Required Qualifications:
  • Terminal degree in Information Systems, Information Science and Technology, Business Information Systems or a related field with a firm anticipated completion date by August 17, 2018 is required.

Highly Desirable Qualifications:

  • Industry experience working within information and technology management related field.
  • Teaching experience in human and technology interaction management course.
  • Teaching experience in data driven web development course.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Undergraduate or graduate teaching experience or corporate training.
  • Record of, or potential for, scholarly activities.
 Supplemental Information:
Duties will include teaching classes at both the undergraduate and graduate level, advising, research and service activities.  Instructional delivery can occur through on-line, traditional, and alternative instructional methods on Bloomsburg University's main campus or off-site educational locations.  Voluntary summer and winter contracts may be available. Finalists for the position must communicate well and successfully complete the interview process, teaching demonstration, and research presentation, as judged by the department faculty. Recommendation for hiring is needed from a majority of the regular, full-time department faculty. Competitive salary is based on the collective bargaining agreement and commensurate with experience. Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance and criminal background check.
