Junior IT Technician

We are seeking the services of an enthusiastic, energetic and competent Junior IT Technician to assist the IT Department with the running, management and general functional well-being of the School’s IT network system.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing the booking out of school electronic devices
• Working within the school’s Help Desk System
• Working with Windows OS and Mac OS X
• Managing and setup of iPads and other mobile devices
• Workig with Google apps for school
• Software installations / MDM administration

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric and relevant I.T Qualification (minimum A+, N+)
• Working knowledge of Mac OS X
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar working environment

Additional Requirements:

• Good written and verbal communication.
• Good presentation and communications skills.
• Good interpersonal skills in working with others.
• Clean credit and criminal record (employment in a position of trust and honesty)
• Must have a strong sense of responsibility, use initiative and be reliable
• Punctuality is essential

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualification. This permanent full time position (7.30am – 4.30pm) is available from 1 February 2018, or an earlier date by mutual agreement.
