DESCRIPTION: The Technology Support Manager job, in collaboration with the administrative team, building principals, and staff, is to ensure that staff members, and students, have the support needed to academically and personally grow through the use of technology.
 
QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to work collaboratively with others as well under limited supervision in troubleshooting technology. Ability to communicate with school and district personnel, students and parents, and vendors. To provide technology support, manage on-line textbooks, subscriptions, applications, inventory, tech purchasing, and assist in on-going creation/implementation of a digital learning plan. Technical skills.
 
ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
·         Manage the district helpdesk system for staff and students, on site and remotely, and serve as technology            trouble shooter.
·         Manage and distribute technology resources to teachers and students.
·         Order and manage online textbooks, subscriptions, applications, and programs.
·         Assist in ordering and tracking technology equipment/supplies.
·         Inventory current and newly purchased technology equipment.
·         Assist in coordinating outside technology equipment/supplies.
·         Manage and distribute technology resources to teachers and students and provide entry level training on           use.
·         Interact with vendors of educational hardware and aid in the procurement process with the TechnologyTeam.
·         Attend professional development activities necessary to stay current in the field of educational technology.
·         Assist with routine maintenance on network equipment, operating systems, and software.
·         Assists with installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and supporting approved software.
·         Assists with creating and testing standard images for all devices.
·         Supports online registration for Warriors BEyond.
·         Promotes the ethical use of technology.
·         Maintain confidentiality as regarding student records and information.
·         Take initiative to solve problems independently.
·         Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology and Strategic Initiatives.
 
Education/Certification/Experience:
·         Requisite Technical skills
·         Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
·         Relevant experience with technology
