School Database and Attendance Coordinator

Qualifications:
• Critical problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize work, multi-task and manage time effectively

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint
• Attentive to detail
• Willingness to be trained in fundamentals of software and database essentials.

Responsibilities:
• Track daily student attendance, distribute late student passes, notes and notify school administration and parents by mid-morning of absent students.  End of quarter and year attendance input to the school database for report cards and other school reporting.

• Maintain student attendance and employee listing during crisis drills.

• Enter student information as students apply and enroll in the school.

• Input demerits to school database

• Prepare and assemble materials for admissions related mailings/events, to include but not limited to: recruitment, Open House, decisions letters, acceptance packets, and receptions.

• Maintain spreadsheet of NJ B6T transportation forms for each student and town to ensure families receive bi-annual State transportation reimbursements.

• Perform various administrative functions for school events such as preparation of school dramatic productions, graduation and honors convocation programs.

• Assist Administrators in various administrative tasks.
