Preferred Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in technology related field and/or experience in technology related field

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft System Center
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
  • Ability to analyze and resolve computer hardware and software problems
  • Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Experience:

Prior experience preferred

 

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide technical assistance to district faculty and staff for use of equipment including computer hardware and software.
  • Deploy software
  • Image computers
  • Manage network printers and copiers
  • Perform hardware troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems
  • Assist in developing long-term strategies and planning for future computer hardware needs
  • Maintain technology work orders
