Description/Notes:

To assume responsibility for planning, coordinating and implementing major district-wide Technology initiatives in a timely well-organized manner and oversight of the Technology procurement process. Develop, maintain and evaluate the District’s E-Rate program, technology plan, projects and activities.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration or related field
from an accredited college or university
• Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable
fee (approximately $50.00) paid by the applicant
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with a good driving record; must meet and maintain liability
coverage eligibility

Special Knowledge/Skills:
• Knowledge of Project Management Processes
• Experience with procurement for large technology projects
• High level of personal integrity, a collaborative leadership style and high ethical standards
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral form
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of networking environment, infrastructure equipment and technology

Experience:
• Minimum of two (2) years managing large projects
• Minimum of two (2) years working in a technical role

Salary Range:

Annual salary range is $62,709.50 - $75,987.40 depending on directly related experience.
