| General summary: Oversees the conversion of instructional materials to alternative media formats, provides guidance and recommends solutions on emerging technology access issues, and provides access information guidelines to faculty and students.- Troubleshoots and evaluates assistive technology with existing and emerging technology systems to ensure effective daily operation.- Coordinates in-service training and documentation for students, staff, and faculty on effective use of existing and emerging technologies to ensure effective operation of assistive technology. - Coordinates the conversion of materials into alternative formats.- Attends appropriate training opportunities to maintain skills and knowledge in assistive technologies.- Evaluates and provides recommendations related to assistive technology use of proposed student-facing technologies.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or higher in related field from an accredited institution.- Two years' relevant experience providing direct support to users of alternative format and accessible content for educational purposes. - Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state.
