Description of Work

Provide hardware and software support for tablets, laptops, and desktops in faculty and staff offices, research labs, computer labs, conference rooms, and classrooms. Support video conferencing equipment and other specialized hardware and software. Collaborate with fellow team members to strive for excellence in technology services provided to the college. Minimum Required Qualifications

Associate’s degree in computer technology or a related field or equivalent education/experience plus one year of computer technology support experience including technology-based customer service. Technical knowledge of PC based operating systems. Must have basic knowledge of MS Office software and cloud data storage. Experience must demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, organizational, decision-making, and problem solving skills, and the initiative to stay abreast of new technologies and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field of study. Two or more years of computer technology support experience including technology-based customer service. Experience with file server management; with client management tools, such as Jamf & SCCM; and with Box cloud storage. Technical knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems. Knowledge of best practices in IT security.
