Program Manager- Web and Data Systems
National Cathedral School (NCS) announces a search for a Program Manager: Web and Data Systems. This position is primarily responsible for the NCS content management system and integration of and between NCS business information systems. This role also provides technology services and support to academic and business functions of NCS, and it assists with the shared responsibility of the physical technology infrastructure, network monitoring, and electronic security software. The position may assist with NCS help desk and end-user support and other technology duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to: resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner; provide technical support over the phone and by email in non-technical terms as well as to exercise patience and professionalism when working with others, handle a changing work flow and confidential information, and remain productive during down times and prioritize tasks during peak periods. The successful candidate will also demonstrate knowledge of the operational and procedural aspects of computer systems, hardware, software, peripheral equipment, and current technological development/trends and good problem-solving skills. This position requires some work on weekends and evenings as needed, physical work including bending, stooping, reaching, and standing for extended periods of time as well as lifting, carrying, and/pushing at least 30 pounds.
Requirements include: a bachelor's degree, three to five years of experience developing and supporting websites, as well as experience maintaining and supporting business content management systems including PCs, Macs, and printers in a networked environment; experience performing systems maintenance, trouble shooting and repairs, and hardware and software installation and upgrades.
