    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned,

    < >Develops training on database use and interpretation

    Manages AT web site

    Creates correspondence through electronic and standard mail for all regions regarding the use of AT

    Assists in developing training materials

    Sets up classroom environment for AT training and development

    Assists in upgrading and ordering AT equipment and software for the state department

    Presents AT needs assessment findings on the local

    Prepares reports from data collected

    Collect/gathers and interprets data

    Other duties as assignedESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    The essential functions for the position of include the physical and mental involvement requirements noted in this position description in addition to regular reliable attendance given the limited number of employees available to performing the essential functions of this position. It is also essential that the Regional Assistive Technology Assistant be able to follow the directives of superiors in insuring the harmonious operation of the department.

    Qualifications: Graduate from a college and/or university. Must have 5-10 years’ experience maintaining databases. Extensive knowledge of the MS Office Suite. Ability to install and troubleshoot both PCs and Mac's. Ability to train others on database use. Must possess the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with professionals, parents and/or caregivers of students.
