32 h (24 hours in front of the students)

Position Summary:

The Technology/Computer Science Instructor is responsible for the general supervision and management of the computer program at Le Lycée Francais de Los Angeles in Middle and High School. This person must be professionally prepared to teach computer lab and support technology integration throughout the school.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Planning, supervising, and implementing the computer curriculum in accordance with Le Lycée Français policies and procedures

Teaching in both in English and French

Animating the Middle School Newspaper (Elective – 4 prints per year)

Knowledge of Micosoft office and Applications – Power Point, Word and Excel

Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop

Knowledge of In Design – for the CUB

Knowledge of computer programming, flowchart and pseudo coding, introduction to programming with Visual Basic (or other programming language): Scratch, etc…

Demonstrate the ability to use electronic equipment for word processing, data management, information retrieval, visual and audio presentations, and telecommunications.

Responsible for procurement, maintenance, and inventory of the computer lab and computer storage area. Upgrade computer software as needed.
