California State University, Stanislaus (Stanislaus State) seeks nominations of and applications from experienced, imaginative and student-centered leaders for the position of Chief Information Officer.

The University serves a diverse student body of more than 10,000 at two locations in the Central Valley - a beautiful 228-acre campus in Turlock, and the Stockton Center, which is located in the city's historic Magnolia District. Dr. Ellen Junn has begun her second year as President of the University, and she has brought a bold, new vision for its future.

The CIO/Associate Vice President for Information Technology manages the operations of the Office of Information Technology. Reporting to the Vice President for Business and Finance. The Associate Vice President is responsible for the development, management, and utilization of administrative, academic, and instructional technology resources, information, processing resources, and telecommunications resources. The AVP-IT/Chief Information Officer/Chief Information Security Officer is responsible for expanding the scope of developing technologies to benefit the campus community, implementing innovative applications for these technologies, and enhancing the university's information technology function, particularly its focus on supporting teaching and learning. Further, they will lead the development and implementation of the CSU Stanislaus information system security plan and strategy, including information security projects.
