Technology Network Administrator
The Network Administrator is responsible for ensuring the maintenance and smooth operation of Saint Andrew's United Methodist Day School's computer network. Specific tasks include:
Maintaining a fleet of ~100 desktop and laptop computers connected to a Windows domain.
Managing staff and student user accounts through Windows Active Directory and Google services.
Providing deskside support for teachers in general-use technology situations (printing problems, projector problems, computer hardware/software issues, WiFi issues, etc).
Checking security records of electronic keycard use/video feeds as needed.
Creating and distributing electronic keycards for staff and substitute teachers.
Troubleshooting the school VOIP phone system and provisioning new phones and extensions as needed.
Working with administration to provide consulting advice for technology-related school infrastructure projects, and serving as a point of contact for any outside vendors associated with such projects.
Providing troubleshooting help and staff training as needed for other computer-related resources (school website, faculty calendar, online grading system, etc).
