Position Summary

The Admissions Technology Systems and Operations Manager has primary responsibility for all technology systems used by the Office of Graduate Admissions in the College of Graduate Studies (CoGS) and the College of Continuing Studies (CoCS) and will function as a member of both management teams to optimize efficiency and provide expertise for all systems applications, including Ellucian Recruiter CRM, Banner SIS, and Argos.

Essential Duties

1. Work collaboratively with both the Director of Graduate Admissions as well as the Dean of the College of Continuing Studies regarding technology systems in both the CoGS and CoCS.
2. Function as the office systems expert who provides guidance to CoGS and CoCS office staff in the use of Banner with a focus on process and workflow analysis, enhanced module functionality, and application support to increase admissions efficiency. Make recommendations to leadership on strategy and business process enhancements; provide guidance and support for implementation of Ellucian Recruiter; develop and implement processes and procedures to capture complete information to be used in decision making; become familiar with and assist in implementation of any admissions/recruitment software that the Offices of Graduate Admissions and Continuing Studies Admissions may implement in the future.  
3. Manage functionality of the offices’ CRM product. This includes all records and applications through the CRM and Banner, and the online application checklist system through Banner; continually research and develop improvements in use of technology for both offices; provide direct support as needed to the Office of Communication and Outreach (located within CoGS) regarding workflows to prospects and applicants. 
4. Develop processes for and manage daily processing of all print and digital communication sent via the CRM; manage electronic indexing of all credentials submitted for applications; create online applications and online forms needed to streamline processing of credentials. 
5. Manage online technical issues of the application review process; create and implement an application review manual for all DGCE chairs; work with DGCE chairs to ensure their familiarity with online review process. 
6. Assists Continuing Studies Advisors with the application process, gaining access to administrative systems, login procedures and account issues.
7. Assist students with the online application process; gaining access to administrative systems, login procedures, resetting accounts. 
8. Create and implement an online orientation program for new students. 
9. Serve as primary liaison to the Information Technology Division. 
10. Compile all data used in reporting and developing reports as requested.  
11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Graduate Admissions and Dean of Continuing Studies

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
2. Minimum 3 years of related experience
3. Experience working with a Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system
4. Strong organizational and planning skills
5. Experience working collaboratively with multiple departments
6. Excellent analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

1. Prior Banner experience 
2. Experience with Ellucian Recruiter 
3. Experience in admissions operations
4. Master’s Degree

Salary Range $60,000 to $70,000
