This is a 3 month position to assist our technology department with setup and then with beginning the school year. There is a possibility of continuing employment for the school year.

For the summer tasks:

  • Coordinate inventory, tracking repairs and warrantees and returns.
  • Coordinate with printing vendor to phase in print monitoring services.
  • Assist with teacher and student training activities, as directed.
  • Assist with all IT department tasks, including adding users in Active Directory, fixing logins, configuring computers, etc. This includes: creating the image, deploying the image, setting up individual surfaces with OneDrive and Outlook.
  • Serve as support for the school information system (Veracross), including portal and login issues.
  • Support the Director of Instructional Technology in data entry and database management activities.
  • Support other Technology requests in the school, including in the Theater Department, the Business Office or any department, as directed.

As the school year begins:

  • Serve as first contact for student and teacher help requests.
  • Provide tier one desktop support, such as installing drivers, updates, software support, etc.
  • Coordinate all inventory, tracking repairs and warrantees and return.
  • Maintain technology Help Desk in the library.
  • Supervise student library activities as needed.
  • Coordinate lending of technology equipment using library software, and backup librarian for book checkout.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, a college graduate with good technical skills using Windows 10 and Mac OS and have experience with Office 365, using OneDrive and OneNote. Willing to support the vision for technology at Holy Child by working with a team and meeting the technical needs of the school. An interest in education, good communications and problem solving skills are a must. The position is available immediately, and we are hoping for someone who can start work on or before August 1.
