Position Summary:
- The Technology Support Specialist is responsible for customer satisfaction of technology users, problem determiniation/diagnosis and resolutions, call routing if necessary, logging, and follow-up with customers to ensure satifaction.
Education/Certification:

Associates Degree or Bachelor of Science/Barchelor of Arts from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field preferred.

Years of experience may be substituted for education.

Apple Macintosh Technician Certification and/or Windows certification is a plus.
Special Knowledge/Skills:

The ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with all levels of management and staff

Ability to remain calm and courteous in periods of stress

Ability to work with users having a broad range of experience levels

Knowledge of both Macintosh and Windows computer platforms

Working knowledge of personal computers and applicable software
